One of the important missions of our program is to help train the next generation of scientists in the field of Regenerative Medicine.
To accomplish this mission, it truly "takes a village." And it takes support. We are extremely grateful to the California Institute for Regnerative Medicine for funding two of our major training programs at UC Davis (the CIRM training and CIRM Bridges programs), to the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI), to the National Institutes of Health for funding the UC Davis CTSC ( Clinical Translational Science Center), and to Dean Claire Pomeroy and Executive Associate Dean Fred Meyers for funding our trainees in this field.
We are also very grateful to our donors who have supported trainees in our laboratory. A tax-deductable gift of $2,000 provides a stipend to support a summer student to train in our institute for a 3 month period. if you are interested in helping to support a student or any aspect of our research please contact our Foundations Director Laurie Macintosh. All donations of any size are greatly appeciated, to help our young scientists. They have the amazing new ideas!
